These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Global Knight Verifications LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services Provided
- We provide background check, pre-employment screening, and verification services to authorized clients for lawful purposes only.
- Services may include but are not limited to: employment history verification, education and credential verification, criminal record searches, reference checks, and other permissible background screening activities.
2. Client Responsibilities
- Obtaining proper written authorization and disclosure from each individual before requesting a background check, as required by law (including the Fair Credit Reporting Act “FCRA”).
- Using reports only for lawful purposes, in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of background check results.
3. Use of Information
- All information obtained through our services is to be used solely for the purpose for which it was requested.
- Clients may not resell, share, or use information for unauthorized purposes.
4. Compliance with Laws
By using our services, you agree to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and any industry-specific compliance requirements.
5. Fees and Payment
- Clients agree to pay all fees associated with services as outlined in their service agreement or order confirmation.
- Payments are due as specified in invoices or contracts.
6. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Global Knight Verifications LLC does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of information obtained from third-party sources.
7. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Knight Verifications LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of our services.
- This includes but is not limited to: loss of business or profits, errors or omissions in third-party data, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services at our sole discretion if we believe a client has violated these Terms or applicable laws.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
- Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
